We’ve Made Shopping Easy for you, no Returns Needed!

At Starch Living and Heavenly Feather, our goal is for you to fall in love with your purchase and enjoy it for a lifetime. Here’s how we help you choose with confidence:

Items we do not refund for hygiene reasons:

1. All bedlinen

2. All feather and down products

3. Inners and sleeping pillows

I am sure you would not like us to send you bedlinen that has been returned from a client who has had it on their bed/mattress, we would not dream of it! 

This is standard industry procedure, no-return policy on bedding for health and hygiene reasons, especially if the packaging has been opened or the item has been used.

Once bedding like pillows, or sheets have been unsealed or used, they can't be resold due to hygiene concerns and out of respect for our clients. 

Shipping

We currently deliver within South Africa only.

For international deliveries, please contact us at orders@heavenlyfeather.co.za, we are  happy to assist you with a quote.

Shipping Charges 

There’s no charge for collections from our factory.

Shipping fees will be calculated automatically at checkout.

Not sure about the charges or have a special request? Email us at orders@heavenlyfeather.co.za we’ll provide a custom quote.

All orders are subject to stock availability and full payment. Orders will only be processed once payment has cleared.

For remote areas not serviced by our courier, we’ll arrange PostNet delivery or quote accordingly.

All goods are shipped in excellent condition. Unless we’re advised otherwise, we will assume your order has been received in the same condition.

Shipping lead times 

Please allow approximately 2 to 3 weeks from confirmation and payment for delivery.
Bespoke and made-to-order items may require additional time. You will be notified of any delays.

Returns

We take great pride in our quality. If for any reason you’re not entirely satisfied, items may be returned within 7 days of receipt for an exchange or refund.  Please take note of the items listed above that will are not legible for refund. 

Conditions for returns:

  • Products must be unused, unopened, unwashed, and in perfect condition

  • Must include original packaging exactly as you recieved it 

  • Return shipping is at your expense unless the item is faulty

Items returned after this period will only be considered if found to be faulty and product care instructions have been properly followed.

We do not accept returns on:

  • Bedlinen because you have changed your mind 

  • Custom-made items

  • Last of the Bestsellers or discontinued items

  • All bedlinen

  • All feather and down products

  • Inners and sleeping pillows

Heavenly Feather and Starch Living reserves the right to submit returned items for independent testing if a fault is disputed.  We have been in business for 18 years, we know our products inside and out.

In such cases, refunds or exchanges will only be processed once testing is complete. If testing shows misuse or misrepresentation, costs will be charged to the purchaser. Buyers may also choose to have further independent testing conducted.

All approved returns will incur a 20% handling fee.
